The 31st Annual International Pizza Expo®
The World's Largest and Oldest Pizza Tradeshow

Can you imagine a place larger than the size of five football fields with nothing but pizza-related goods, equipment and services? A place where you can shop and sample and network with your peers from around the world?  International Pizza Expo® — the Show of Shows for the Pizza Industry — is THE place to do business, to learn, to network and to deal. We've helped hundreds of businesses get started, and we've helped thousands more pizzerias stay in business and grow.

 

On Day One (Monday) we will offer special programming for new operators and early-arriving attendees. The sessions, free to all registered attendees, include an Opening Presentation by Tony Gemignani, featuring remarks from one of the pizzeria industry's biggest stars. Also on Monday, a seminar track for new operators (with sessions on branding, marketing and avoiding common mistakes) and a Pizzeria Concept Showcase (with presentations by five super-successful operators). The day concludes with a reception open to all attendance.


Day Two (Tuesday), the Exhibit Hall opens, but activity gets underway early with a 7:45 a.m. keynote from Jason Dorsey, a witty and thought-provoking expert on doing business with Millennials. Preliminary rounds of the International Pizza Challenge™ take place from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., and the World Pizza Games® Trials will be held during approximately the same time frame on their stage on the show floor. We'll offer 30-plus education seminars  and cooking demonstrations given by fellow pizza operators and expert professional speakers. The day will conclude with late-afternoon Beer & Bull Idea Exchange® featuring free beverages and snacks along with networking and discussion tables on top-of-mind topics..


Highlights of Day Three (Wednesday) include a keynote morning kick-off by the Marc Malnati, who has been introducing the rest of the country—and Jon Stewart—to Chicago-style pizza. The preliminary rounds of the International Pizza Challenge will continue and the World Pizza Games Trials conclude. There will be another 30-plus seminars and cooking demonstrations. And you won't want to miss our Pizza Expo Block Party, a street party-style celebration with a large entertainment stage, food and drink booths, games, contests and the finals of Freestyle Dough-Tossing competition.


Day Four (Thursday) the show wraps up with Exhibit Hall hours from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Finals of the International Pizza Challenge, culminating in the Pizza Maker of the Year contest, will be held, and the show will close with the drawing for the $20,000 MEGA BUCKS Giveaway. The morning will start with a special seminar appearance by Big Dave Ostrander, followed by All-Operator Thursday sessions given by your fellow pizza professionals on highly focused business subjects.
